With the temperatures in the next week set to hit in the 30’s, tree roots start to grow and the likelihood of your drainage blocking increases.
Tree roots are the most common cause of blocked drains in Sydney . Especially in the hotter months, tress will be thirsty for water and will be drawn to the condensation that forms on the outside of the pipes.
Tree roots can also access your pipes through cracks and mis-aligned joints, causing nasty blockages.
These roots will eventually break through and gradually cause a stormwater or sewer blockage. Symptoms of a blocked drain include gurgling noises, slow filling drains and bad odours.
